Job summary

Walmart Canada in Fredericton, NB is seeking a Fashion Associate to deliver excellent customer service, stock fashion merchandise, and maintain displays and signage in a safe, clean store. You will work as part of a team to plan daily tasks and seasonal arrangements, greet customers, promote products, assist with locating items, and ensure shelves, fixtures and signage remain tidy and up-to-date.

The role is open to applicants 16 years or older, with a minimum hourly wage starting at 16.05 CAD,

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.
• No degree required; willingness to work in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Processes and stocking all fashion merchandise.
• Keeps the salesfloor area clean and tidy for the customer.
• Merchandises non-modular fashion items.
• Ensuring proper fixtures and supplies are used and replaced if necessary.
• Uses proper signage as the modular dictates.
• Replenishes and merchandises seasonal merchandise in a timely manner.
