Job summary

FedEx Canada in Regina is seeking a Full-time Senior Courier. You will operate company vehicles, delivering and picking up packages across a floating schedule with coverage for open routes in the absence of a normally assigned courier.

The role requires DG certification and bilingual French/English in Quebec, with the ability to lift heavy packages and maintain FedEx certifications. You will mentor colleagues and contribute to sales opportunities while supporting operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must successfully complete basic and recurrency training including DG certification; maintain accreditation via yearly recurrency training.
• Gain and maintain FedEx DG Specialist certification.
• Good understanding of FedEx products and service features; general operations.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Some knowledge of Federal Express operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
• In Quebec, bilingual (French and English) required.

Responsibilities

Special Notes

Incumbent(s) of this position do not have regularly assigned routes. They provide coverage for open routes in the absence of the normally assigned courier.

The requirement of DG specialist is dependent upon station size and location. Senior Management (MD level) has the right to override these requirements as it sees fit.

Technical Skill Requirements – Solid Knowledge Of The Following

• Must possess a valid drivers licence and have a good driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training (including completing and maintaining DG certification). Must maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration.
• Ability to gain and maintain FedEx DG Specialist certification
