Job description

Position Summary...

This position is responsible for unloading, receiving, and cross-docking wood pallets and LTL freight in and out of the warehouse in a timely manner. It also involves assisting in the smooth operation of Reverse Logistics (formerly Chep) and SCC.

What you'll do...

1. Prioritize wood pallet and SCC inbound loads, assign doors and packets.
2. Monitor the flow of incoming pallet loads and LTL freight.
3. Assist with the general receiving process, including receiving/slotting and researching problematic freight as required.
4. Complete paperwork accurately in the general receiving area.
5. Communicate with carriers and handle administrative tasks for outbound loads.
6. Exchange paper documentation with Purchase Order Control and General Receivers.
7. Receive and ship to outbound DCs and vendor pallet locations; receive site to store freight and scan in E-SNAP.
8. Load and offload pallets, verifying freight for accuracy.

The pay rate for this position starts from $27.65/hr.
