Walmart Canada in Truro, NS is seeking a team member for the Deli Department to zone shelves, rotate stock, and ensure proper pricing and labeling. The role includes preparing hot and bakery items, taking deli orders, and maintaining cold chain standards.

Ideal candidates will follow all safety procedures and assist with general department duties as needed, including stock checks and customer service during shifts.

• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels

Position Summary

What you'll do

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.45.
