Walmart Canada in Saint John, NB is hiring a Deli Bakery Associate to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the Bakery and Deli areas. You will stock, sign, price, and rotate products, and assist with hot food preparation and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include following cold chain guidelines, handling temperatures, and ensuring dates are accurately marked. Minimum age 16 or older. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role at our Saint John location.

• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels

Position Summary...

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What You'll Do...

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.35.
