Position Summary

Working as a Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast paced retail environment. In this role, you deliver excellent customer service by living Walmart’s values, maintaining a clean, organized, and well zoned Dairy/Frozen department, and supporting stocking and sales activities. As part of the team, you help ensure fresh products are available and the department is always customer ready. What You’ll Do

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards – Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.


• Stock Rotation and Product Quality – Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.


• Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy – Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.


• Cold Chain, Food Safety, and Sanitation – Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.


• Merchandising and Feature Maintenance – Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.


• Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance – Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard‑free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
