Position Summary

Working as a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. This role involves working as part of a team to stock and process merchandise and assist customers with their shopping needs, all in a safe and clean environment. What You'll Do

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and helping with purchase decisions.
3. Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management when appropriate.
4. Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing, and pricing merchandise.
5. Handle claims and returns properly, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment following company policies.
6. Receive and stock merchandise, use equipment appropriately, and complete required paperwork and logs.
7. Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
8. Stock merchandise, perform downstocks if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set up modulars including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Age – 16 or older
