Job description

Position Summary

To support the Store Manager and manage store operations according to Company guidelines, leading Associates to ensure friendly, helpful service and drive profitable store sales.

What you'll do
  1. Job Responsibility 1: Drive profitable sales through achievement of sales and profit goals, budget management, and sales forecasts. Analyze sales/financial reports, economic trends, and community needs to respond to market changes while controlling expenditures. Communicate sales results to associates and interpret results.
  2. Job Responsibility 2: Create operational plans with the Management Team; prioritize, delegate, and provide clear directions to Managers and Associates. Ensure optimal store conditions through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and adherence to store standards. Implement new store programs and evaluate their effectiveness. Cross-train as needed.
  3. Job Responsibility 3: Execute and monitor asset protection and safety controls; maintain quality assurance standards; oversee safety and operational reviews; ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including safety, security, and financial controls.
  4. Job Responsibility 4: Serve Customers by greeting them, seeking feedback, and resolving issues within Company guidelines. Model and enforce friendly customer service approaches.
  5. Job Responsibility 5: Support community initiatives by participating in events, developing relationships with community groups, and supporting sustainability efforts.
  6. Job Responsibility 6: Lead Associates through store meetings, communicate operational initiatives, drive engagement, recognize accomplishments, and develop talent.
  7. Job Responsibility 7: Hold Associates accountable with performance feedback and corrective actions. Build relationships with supporting functions like HR.
  8. Job Responsibility 8: Comply with all standards and procedures, including handling merchandise with care and maintaining cash controls, managing up to $250,000 daily.
