Job description

Position Summary

To collaborate with all levels including Store Management, Market Management, and Subject Matter Experts. They will be responsible for the education of associates and managers on compliance programs. This will involve monitoring compliance controls in their respective facility, identifying root causes, driving corrective actions, and continuous improvement with the aim to build trust with customers, associates, stakeholders, and regulatory entities.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver compliance and safety awareness leveraging Ethics and Compliance resources. Drive compliance improvement by conducting assessments in their facility across designated compliance subject matter areas such as:
    • Health & Safety/Fire Code
    • Environmental
    • Consumer Protection
    • Anti Money Laundering
    • Food Safety/Pest Control
    • Privacy & Employment
    • Licenses & Permits
    • Anti-Corruption
  • Provide on-the-spot compliance training at all levels within the facility, including delivering the compliance portion of new associate orientation.
  • Analyze data to identify program gaps or trends, determine root causes, and support the creation and implementation of action plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in regulatory visits (excluding Health & Wellness and Human Resources related matters), including online submissions and engaging appropriate partners for resolution of orders or fines.
  • Manage the hourly associate accident file process, including online submissions, investigations, modified offer letters, and follow-up until resolution.
  • Foster two-way communication with Store Management regarding attendance management, progress note completion, and accountability.
  • Assist with collection and verification of documents for customer claim folders.
  • Submit and follow up on Facilities Maintenance requests, including pest control management.
  • Utilize escalation tools to resolve issues and outstanding tickets.
  • Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member, following up on action items from safety meetings and inspections.
