Position Summary

Working as a Cashier at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry. What you'll do

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Process all purchase transactions efficiently and accurately, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
3. Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
4. Assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise.
5. Follow safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean work area.
6. Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to company policies, and situational awareness.
7. Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
