Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Cashier in Peace River, Alberta. You will provide exceptional customer service at checkout, handle cash transactions, and help protect company assets while maintaining an efficient, friendly experience for shoppers.

The role starts at a minimum hourly rate of $16.65, with opportunities to engage in sponsor programs and assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise. This is a frontline, customer-facing position in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
