Job summary

Walmart Canada in Smiths Falls, ON is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver exemplary customer service at the checkout, process transactions, and help maintain a secure and welcoming store environment.

As a Cashier you will greet customers, handle cash and card transactions, promote store programs, assist with bagging, and coordinate with Customer Service Managers as needed. Minimum age 16.

• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
