Position Summary

To process transactions and provide exceptional customer service in order to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty.

What you'll do

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Process all purchase transactions efficiently, including deactivation of merchandise respecting the EAS Program.
3. Promote company sponsor programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
4. Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
5. Follow safe work practices, including proper lifting and maintaining a clean work area.
6. Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and adherence to policies.
7. Refer transactional items to a Customer Service Manager when required.
