Job summary

Walmart Canada in Toronto is seeking a friendly Bakery Associate to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining the bakery department. You will stock, label, sign, and price items, follow safety and cold-chain procedures, and assist customers with selections.

You will prepare bakery products by following thawing and baking guidelines, ensure displays are secure, and help keep the department clean and well-organized to support a positive shopping experience.

• Follows food safety and sanitation procedures and cleaning procedures.
• Handles ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by thawing and baking according to guidelines to maintain quality and appearance.
• Ensures all displays are secured safely.

• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensures all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
