Job summary

Walmart Canada in Laval, QC is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program, helping maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

The role involves coordinating with stocking teams, following food safety standards, cleaning Fresh Departments, inspecting equipment, and promoting a safe workplace through required certifications and company policies. On-site work with shift-based duties, starting at CAD 19.05 per hour.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
