Role Summary

We are looking for engaging Campus Security Guards to provide outstanding service to customers, employees, and clients, while addressing traditional security challenges. Your protective nature and attention to detail will be vital to our success. We value individuality and support your efforts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of property, clients, and employees
• Welcome and acknowledge patrons according to company standards
• Control access to the property
• Perform patrols, report hazards and deficiencies
• Complete detailed incident reports
• Use security equipment effectively (radios, cameras, printers, computers, electronic lock systems)
• Operate as part of the Emergency Response Team
• Report accidents, complaints, criminal activities, and crises
• Log actions in an electronic Shift Activity Log
• Work with Fire, and Life & Safety systems
• Work all shifts including holidays, weekends, nights, and evenings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-paced customer service environment
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Valid provincial Security Guard Licence
• First Aid, CPR Level C, AED certifications
• Knowledge of municipal, provincial, and federal laws (e.g., Trespass to Property Act)
• WHMIS and safety courses an asset
• Experience with CCure and IndigoVision preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional Information

A pre-employment background check, criminal record check, and possibly a credit check and driver’s abstract are required. The position is full-time, with flexible shifts, located at 1 Mount Pleasant, Toronto, ON. Travel up to 10% may be required.
