Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Security Guard for a post-secondary education facility in Toronto. You will welcome visitors, verify IDs, control access, perform patrols, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents with first aid when needed.

Strong customer service experience and a valid Ontario security license are required. We offer GardaWorld Academy education coverage, uniform provision, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Must have a WSIB Approved First Aid & CPR Level C Certification.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service or concierge role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify ID, and provide directions.
• Control building access.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks.
• Check security equipment and report issues.
• Complete computer-based monitoring and reports.
• Respond to incidents and provide first aid.
• Write incident reports and communicate concerns.
• Answer questions in person and by phone.
