Job summary

University of Guelph is seeking a Project Manager, Campus Planning to lead strategic and capital planning for the Guelph campus, including policy, space optimization, stakeholder engagement, campus and land-use planning, needs assessments, and coordination with the City of Guelph.

You will report to the Associate Director and drive the Campus Master Planning framework, develop and implement key strategic initiatives, and represent the University at conferences and external meetings.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree in a related discipline with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with governance practices in post-secondary education.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Analytical and negotiation skills; design and project management software experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate yearly capital planning and write the Capital Plan document.
• Lead committees, obtain community input, and coordinate with external consultants.
• Conduct studies and analyze data to inform campus planning initiatives.
• Lead the Campus Master Planning framework and related strategic initiatives.
• Represent the University at conferences and meetings with stakeholders.
