Campaign Coordinator

Position Summary

Are you a people person who thrives on building connections and making a difference? Join our team as a Campaign Coordinator and be part of something meaningful. In this role, you won’t just be organizing campaigns — you’ll be building relationships, sparking community engagement, and helping connect generous people to causes that matter.

You’ll work closely with volunteers, donors, and workplace partners, using your creativity, organization, and communication skills to make each campaign inspiring and impactful. Reports to: Director, Donor Relations

Primary Responsibilities

• Builds and nurtures relationships with workplace partners, donors, and volunteers to support community impact

• Supports and collaborates with workplace Ambassadors and campaign volunteers

• Identifies and explores new partnership and engagement opportunities

• Works closely with the campaign cabinet, staff, and community stakeholders to build support

• Supports donor stewardship activities and helps share stories of impact

• Coordinates events that bring people together and raise awareness, including sponsorship outreach

• Participates in organization-wide events and community engagement initiatives

• Helps implement effective and creative strategies to grow support for United Way’s mission

Desired Skills and Experience

• Graduate from post-secondary in fundraising, business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience

• Strong relationship-builder with experience engaging people in a meaningful way

• 1–3 years’ experience in community engagement, donor relations, sales, or customer service roles

• Excellent communicator with planning, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working with CRM or donor databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce)

• Collaborative and adaptable, with a positive and proactive attitude

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including diplomacy and listening

• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required

The above statements reflect the general scope of responsibilities, but we are a flexible, “all hands on deck” team environment. Expect the occasional “other duties as required.”

• Permanent full-time position

• Level 5 – $50,000 per year
