Job Description: Camp Kitchen Attendant

Job Location & Schedule: Remote camps in British Columbia. Rotation schedule: 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out. Preference given to candidates in or near Terrace, BC.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks according to safe work practices and procedures.
• Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area at all times.
• Participate in daily Toolbox meetings.
• Perform dishwashing following Food Safety Plan.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and small wares per Food Safety Plan and COVID protocols.
• Support food-safe storage and labeling of potential food allergy items.
• Organize food storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize the Dry Area.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Camp/Kitchen Attendant in a remote camp.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Highly motivated, team-oriented, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on a rotation schedule.
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods and maintain performance over 10-12 hour shifts.
• Availability to start immediately or on short notice.
