Camp Counsellor - Reptile Camp

Hiring Now!
We are seeking full-time camp counsellors/outreach presenters for the 2025 summer season at Reptile Camp. Here is what we are looking for:

  1. Someone who loves working with kids AND animals.
  2. Someone with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and access to their own vehicle.
  3. Someone who has First Aid and CPR certification (or can obtain it by July 2025).
  4. Someone with a clean Vulnerable Sector Screening (Police Check).
  5. Someone available from July 1st to September 1st with a strong work ethic.
  6. Someone reliable, hardworking, outgoing, and trustworthy.

Preferences will be given to applicants with prior volunteer experience with us, experience working with kids (summer camps, coaching, after-school programs, etc.), or working with animals (zoo, pet store, farm, etc.).

Additional assets include bilingualism, lifeguarding, public speaking, and recreational skills.

Pay Rate: $18 to $19/hr depending on experience. 40 hours a week, with opportunities for more if desired.
