Schedule:Monday - Friday (possible work on Saturdays and evenings)
Hours:35 hrs/week
Wage:$33.77 - $38.77/hour (Starting at $33.77/hr)

The Opportunity:
Working under the direction of the Manager of Youth Programs, Program Coordinator II is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and delivery of DIVERSEcity’s Schools Out Summer Camps. This includes planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting to ensure the smooth and successful operation of high-quality, inclusive programming for children ages 6–12 in Delta, BC.
The program prioritizes registrations for Indigenous and Newcomer children, followed by other high-risk, non-Indigenous and Newcomer children within the school district, and children who face barriers to accessing summer camps. Designed to be accessible and intercultural, the camp integrates cross-cultural awareness, environmental responsibility, and personal health and well-being through a full-family approach.
This position provides a blend of program management, operational oversight, communications, and administrative support. The Program Coordinator II will work closely with Activity Workers and oversee their activities across camp sites to ensure that daily programming is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive. They will also facilitate hands-on activities, organize field trips and special events, ensure compliance with funding requirements and safety protocols, and build strong relationships with families, schools, and community partners.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, passionate about creating meaningful and engaging experiences for children, and skilled at building rapport with children, families, staff, and service delivery partners.
