  • Process group invoices and ensure prompt collection.
  • Complete Daily Operating Reports.

Job description

Calypso is Canada’s biggest and best waterpark facility. Located in the Eastern Ontario region, halfway between Ottawa and Montreal, it's the summertime fun place to be!

Candidates must have their own transportation. There is no public transit to the park.

Department: Administration

Availability : Monday to Sunday, various operational hours and holidays

Position Type : Seasonal

Reports To : Financial Controller

If you have attention to detail, flexible availability during our season and a solid understanding of accounting principles this role is a great opportunity to build business acumen and experience in the attractions industry.

Capable of multi-tasking in a busy environment. Able to plan workload to meet accounting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Hybrid between accounting and receptionist type duties.
  • Process group invoices and ensure they are promptly collected
  • Collect outstanding accounts receivable
  • Complete Daily Operating Reports
  • Greeting guests in admin building reception area - sign in log.
  • Responsibilities may differ from day to day
  • Good written and oral communication skills required

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft suite, and computerized financial systems
  • Bilingual French and English is an asset
  • The ideal candidate should possess good accounting skills and understand GAPP.
