The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre is a community-based organization providing innovative, strength-based, family-centered services to children, youth, and their families on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Stó:lō and Nlaka’pamux peoples. POSITION TYPE: Permanent, Part-Time (0.4 FTE/15 Hours a Week).

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Department Leader, this position requires strong skills in facilitation of the CALM Early Care and Learning Framework curricula, including trainings, community of practice initiatives, and groups. Working closely with teachers, parents, and community organizations to create a supportive network for children’s social-emotional well-being. Supporting the creation of engaging activities and resources that promote SEL. Frequent travel (out of FVCDC region), working weekends and evenings is required to support various educational settings and community initiatives.

Location & Travel: This position is based in Chilliwack/Abbotsford and would require traveling to other communities as requested.
