ECMM is seeking a Call Attendant for our Booking Team in Dartmouth, NS. This on-site, full-time role supports occupational health and wellness appointments, interacting with staff and clients to coordinate testing and related services.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with occasional on-call duties. The position emphasizes accuracy, professionalism, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingualism is an asset.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle for after-hours response requirements.

Job Posting: Call Attendant

This position is for a team member for the East Coast Mobile Medical (ECMM) Booking Team. This position is responsible for booking appointments for Occupational Health and/or Wellness needs. The CallAttendant will interact with many of the front-line staff in the same and other teams including MROAs, Client Care, andCollection Site Services. The position is that of a front-line-facing employee who will be interacting consistently withcompany representatives, donors, and collectors.

How YOU will make a difference:

• Booking
  - Handle inbound/outbound calls to coordinate occupational testing.
  - Action web / email booking requests promptly.
  - Handle outbound calls to coordinate occupational and/or wellness testing.
  - Notate and document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
  - Ensure all proper documentation is sent to collection location, including occupational testing documents.


• Trouble Shooting and problem solving
  - Troubleshooting problem bookings to ensure that any issues are resolved with minimal impact on the client.
  - Must be able to identify and elevate priority issues to the correct department using the chain-of-command protocol.


• Provide excellent Customer service and Professionalism
  - Communicate with clients, leadership and peers via both phone and email respectfully, politely andprofessionally
  - Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of all bookings to ensure that all proper protocols are observedand followed.
  - Maintain thorough knowledge of call center processes and adapt to changes required.
  - Maintain excellent communication with internal departments to ensure continuity when releasinginformation externally.
  - Maintain a low error rate.
  - Reliable attendance and prompt arrival to scheduled shifts.


• Depending on work location / business line, perform in house/onsite Drug & Alcohol Testing and / or participate in on call testing rotation as required


• Other Duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills including a good command of the English language as well as good spelling ability.


• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating tact and diplomacy are required when dealing with both internal staff and external clients.


• Must work effectively and professionally under minimal supervision and exercise good judgment.
