Job summary

Englobe in Barrie, Canada, is seeking a Materials/Field Technician to inspect, calibrate and certify dispenser meters at retail service stations across Canada. You will perform minor repairs, complete regulatory verifications, and prepare internal and regulatory reports while traveling extensively, including weekends.

Ideal candidates hold a college diploma or related field experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work across Canada; autonomy, computer skills, and knowledge of MS

Qualifications

• College diploma or related field required or experience in a related field.
• Valid full driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Availability to work across Canada.
• Autonomy and ability to resolve challenges.
• Competence with computers and MS Office programs.
• Petroleum Mechanic License (TSSA) is an asset.
• Measurement Canada certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, and certify dispenser/pump meters at retail service stations.
• Carry out minor repairs on petroleum equipment at service stations.
• Complete regulatory and compliance verifications on the sites.
• Complete internal and regulatory reports based on provincial and federal requirements.
• Extensive travel required including weekends away from home.

The salary range for this position is $47,934 to $62,913 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good‑faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.

Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
