Candidates should be called to the Bar in Alberta with 1–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Called to the Bar in Alberta in good standing.
• 1-5 years of experience in restructuring, insolvency, or related commercial litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-moving files.
• Interest in building a specialized restructuring practice.

Responsibilities

• Support restructuring, receivership, and insolvency proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, court materials, and creditor/stakeholder communications.
• Conduct legal research on insolvency and secured transactions law.
• Attend court appearances and stakeholder negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior counsel on complex multi-party files.
