Job summary

CommerceLink Logistics is seeking a dedicated Class 1, LCV Driver to join our Calgary team. You will transport goods regionally, focusing on safe on-time deliveries between Nisku and Calgary area with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Alberta Class 1 Driver’s License required.
• Clean driving record with strong safety performance.
• 2 years Class 1 driving experience; 1 year LCV experience preferred.
• LCV/regional or short-haul experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of Alberta highways and regional routes.
• Experience with dry van, reefer, and heater is an asset.
• Experience building/breaking LCV set.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance focus.
• Reliable, punctual with good time management.
• Professional communication and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units on regional routes safely.
• Pickup and deliver freight across Alberta in a timely manner.
• Complete pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections.
• Secure loads per safety regulations and maintain logs.
• Comply with Alberta/Canadian transportation rules including Hours of Service.
• Communicate routes, delays, and updates with dispatch.
• Deliver professional customer service at locations.
• Report incidents or mechanical concerns promptly.
• Follow CommerceLink Logistics policies and safety procedures.
