Job summary

Alterra Mountain Group in Calgary, Alberta, invites an Optometrist to join a private practice team of two OD’s providing comprehensive eye care.

The role covers primary care and medical optometry, including advanced dry eye clinic, myopia management, ortho-k, vision therapy, glaucoma and cataract management, with full technician support across four lanes. Part-time or full-time candidates (minimum two full days per week) are encouraged to apply, with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optometrist (OD) in good standing with an accredited optometry program.
• Must have completed all sections of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care and medical optometry
• Manage advanced dry eye clinic and myopia management
• Perform ortho-k and vision therapy; manage glaucoma and cataracts.
