UPS in Calgary, AB is hiring a package handler. This role involves loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting and stocking packages in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include learning UPS handling methods, loading packages into trailers or package cars, and supporting warehouse operations. Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs, read postal codes, and be available Tue-Sat 7:30am-11:00am with flexibility in start/end times.

• Available to work 0730 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday to Saturday.
• Flexibility with start/end times due to operations.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs unassisted.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours - 0730 AM to 11:00AM (Tuesday to Saturday)
• Some flexibility with the starting and end times is mandatory due to operational needs
• Warehouse experience - Preferred

Hourly Wages: Starting at $18.00/hourly
