Job summary

TEKsystems in Calgary, AB is seeking a dynamic leader to manage data center operations across the region. The Manager, Data Center Operations will lead teams of technicians, operators and infra managers, ensuring electrical, mechanical, security, fire life safety and customer support activities are safe, efficient and up to high standards.

The role focuses on operational excellence, governance, budget oversight (OPEX/CAPEX), incident management, SOP development, and collaboration with pre-sales

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in data center operations.
• Experience in incident management and emergency response.
• Strong budget management and regulatory/compliance familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor data center teams to deliver high-quality service.
• Oversee daily data center operations including electrical, mechanical, and safety systems.
• Drive efficiency in installations, service requests, and remote hands support.
• Manage incidents and coordinate emergency response.
