Job summary

S I Systems in Calgary is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to support procurement planning and execution on SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract initiatives. This part-time role requires 1-3 hours/day during core hours, with a hybrid in-office schedule as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a Project Manager or Coordinator with procurement focus, with experience in procurement planning, sequencing, and monitoring, and familiarity with technology projects in medium-to-large environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator with a focus on procurement activities aligned with PMI PMBOK processes.
• 2+ years working with SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract.
• Experience in procurement planning, sequencing, and execution monitoring for operational or project initiatives.
• Experience supporting technology projects in medium to large environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement plans supporting urgent operational and project needs.
• Coordinate procurement sequencing and capacity alignment activities.
• Monitor procurement throughput and execution schedules.
• Identify procurement risks, delays, and barriers impacting delivery.
• Escalate issues across business units, supply management, and enabling services.
• Support accelerated procurement cycles and time-sensitive contracting activities.
• Ensure procurement decisions are documented and compliant.
