The Location: Hollyburn Country Club is located in West Vancouver at 950 Cross Creek Road. Prior to applying for this position, we strongly encourage you to Google our location to ensure that you will be able to travel to and from work as public transportation is limited.


Position Summary
Our mission at Hollyburn is to deliver an exceptionally hospitable experience to our Members in a warm and inviting premium casual setting. By combining attentive service with genuine hospitality, we create memorable moments that our Members cherish and proudly share with family and friends. As a Cafe Attendant, you will play a vital role in achieving this mission, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service that embodies Hollyburn’s dedication to excellence.


Position Responsibilities
• Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly and courteously serving Members and guests with a smile.
• Ensure food and beverages are served to a high standard, focusing on quality, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and Food Safe regulations at all times to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate the cafe's computer systems, handle petty cash transactions, and participate in inventory management.
• Assist with restocking, cleaning, and ensuring the cafe is organized and ready for service.
• Open availability for weekdays, evenings, and weekend shifts is essential.
• Provide support to the team and take the initiative to enhance the member experience.


Skills & Qualifications
• Valid Serving It Right and Food Safe Level 1 certifications (required).
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring physical effort, such as restocking and cleaning.
• Quick thinking and ability to resolve customer concerns or operational challenges efficiently.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Own transportation is an asset, given the Club’s location and limited public transportation options.
• Candidates aged 19 or older must obtain a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector search as part of the onboarding process.
