Job summary

TYLin is seeking a BIM Designer to join our Water Sector team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role focuses on setting up BIM projects, coordinating across disciplines, and designing water infrastructure from concept to detail.

Qualified candidates have 2-4+ years in water/wastewater projects, strong BIM software skills, and a client-focused, collaborative mindset. Hybrid work option and a comprehensive rewards package are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• CET with OACETT preferred.
• 2-4+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ProjectWise and NavisWorks.
• Client focused with a proactive, ethical mindset.
• Demonstrated collaboration in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and manage projects in BIM360 including plant layouts and division into specific engineering disciplines
• Manage BIM coordination across project teams and other disciplines

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-4+ years of experience in the execution of water/wastewater infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ProjectWise and NavisWorks

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $70,400-$88,000 annually for this position and local market.
