Role Description

This is a full-time position for a CAD Assistant in our Ag Division at Atlas Industries. The CAD Assistant will be responsible for providing CAD support, generating Ag quotes, and assisting the project team as needed.

Qualifications

• Post secondary diploma in CAD/ Mechanical Engineering Technologist or equivalent experience.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management.
• Team player - able to work with management and shop employees.
• Flexible to match methods and procedures unique to Atlas Industries.
• Fluent working ability in computer software- Inventor, AutoCAD, JobBoss2, Pro Nest, Peel 3d, Microsoft Applications such as Excel & Word.
• Strong mathematics, CAD & problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and works to a high standard without supervision.
• Accept a high degree of responsibility.
• Able to set and meet deadlines and priorities.
• Marketing skills are an asset.
• Previous ERP experience is an asset.
• Reliable, trustworthy and demonstrating long-term commitment.
• Must comply with Atlas Industries NDA requirements.
• Familiarity with grain farming and machinery would be an advantage.
• Current driver’s license required to travel to customer yard sites.
