Job summary

Prysmian is hiring Production Operators in Ontario. Roles involve operating equipment in various stages of cable manufacture, meeting productivity targets, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

The position includes a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, health and dental benefits, an annual fitness credit, uniforms with laundering, and a pension match up to 8%. Prior production experience and ISO 9000 familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Frequent walking, standing, squatting and reaching.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Completion of high school.
• 3 years of production experience with complex machinery is an asset.
• Experience in inspection and testing within ISO 9000-accredited manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Label and track material discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Keep the workplace clean and organized for efficient processes.
• Handle special projects in manufacturing areas as needed.
• Package finished parts per approved methods and standards.
• Maintain Health, Safety, and Integrated Management System compliance with policies and current legislation.
• Maintain quality records, complete inspections, inventory reports, and Certificates of Quality as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet goals and continuously improve processes.
