Job description

Reporting to the team lead for Major Incident and Change Management, the Change Coordinator is responsible for implementing governance of the IT change management process at BRP. This person will actively engage in establishing and maintaining change governance, as well as continuous improvement of the process and tools, to ensure a service that meets the evolving needs of the business. The role aims to meet operational requirements and guarantee the integrity, security, and availability of production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Apply the guidelines in the Change Management Practices Guide.
  2. Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) standards for each change.
  3. Lead Change Advisory Boards as required.
  4. Support processes for various teams and stakeholders.
  5. Provide ongoing training on processes, change types, documentation, and tools.
  6. Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure documentation standards and proper closure of changes.
  7. Serve as a resource in BRP's global change process.
  8. Implement change and deployment processes using ServiceNow, collaborating with global teams and participating in testing.
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement of the platform and processes based on evolving needs.
  10. Ensure stakeholders utilize tools effectively.
  11. Enhance dashboards and KPIs to monitor process performance and implement adjustments.
  12. Maintain up-to-date documentation.
  13. Provide a customer experience aligned with expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Technology Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of IT experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Professional customer support skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts; certification is an asset.
  • Self-motivated and independent with teamwork aptitude.
