C# .NET Software Developer

Our client is a well-known membership organization that has been in business for decades.

They are currently looking for an experienced .Net Developer to join their IT Architecture & Application Delivery Team working at their Thornhill office.

Major Job Responsibilities:

1. Must be able to interpret requirements and implement into software solutions.
2. Must be proficient writing code in .NET, C#, SQL.
3. Ability to diagnose complex system problems under limited supervision.
4. Test, evaluate and integrate third-party tools with existing applications.

Job Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Must have experience using Microsoft technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, WCF, SQL, SQL Server 2005/2008R2, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Highly proficient in SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL).
• Familiar in SOA and have past experience in SOAP and RESTful Webservices development using WCF.
• Knowledgeable of web applications and Front-end development technologies.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Work well in an agile environment, able to efficiently interact with business users and business analysts to pin down the requirements and provide sound approaches.
• Knowledge of UML, process flow, and data flow diagrams.
• Hold a degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years extensive hands-on software development experience.
• Exemplary communication skills specifically in managing complex/technical information to a wide audience.

Nice to Have:

• Insurance knowledge.
• Development experience in SiteCore platform.
