The Role We Are Offering You

By joining our team, you will participate in the development and integration of software components that provide pilots with a highly realistic simulation environment. Our department handles display solutions, visual content and rendering, sound effects, motion generation, and AI development for military simulation scenarios.

The synthetic environment includes computer-controlled entity simulation, weather conditions, in-flight navigation aids, and voice content broadcast by control towers and weather stations. The software you contribute to will be deployed on flight simulators used to train pilots worldwide.

Our Ideal Candidate Has

  • Good knowledge of object-oriented development in C++ under Windows
  • Knowledge of air navigation, modeling, mathematics, flight dynamics, instruments, electronic warfare, military weapons, sensors, and communication systems
  • Cloud knowledge (Azure) is an asset

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering

Location of the internship is CAE Montreal. The internship will be in a hybrid mode.

All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements. Applicants will need to complete, sign, and return the CGP form within a week, and provide identification documents such as a passport, birth certificate, work permit, or police clearance as applicable. Please note that security background checks can take a minimum of 16 weeks for students on permits.
