Job Title : C++ Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented C++ Developer to join a dynamic team within a leading biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm. This organization specializes in the design and manufacture of innovative medical devices used in interventional medical specialties. The current project involves the development of an advanced over-the-wire catheter with variable distal shapes designed for successful ablation of the pulmonary vein, addressing unique patient anatomies. Additionally, the developer will contribute to the RX-IDE project.

Responsibilities

• Develop new applications utilizing Qt.
• Contribute to backend development using C++.
• Engage in front-end development using Qt Modeling Language (QML), accounting for approximately 10% of the work.
• Perform unit testing and backend development tasks.
• Collaborate with a team of 11 individuals, including principal engineers, interns, and senior developers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C++ with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with Qt framework.
• Knowledge of network protocols.
• Understanding of multithreading with at least 4+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with communication protocols with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in backend development and unit testing.
• Ability to work with GUI development and QML.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Canbus.
• Medical device industry experience.
• Proficiency in French is a plus.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring three days in the office, specifically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
