Job summary

Michelin Shawinigan is seeking a Supply Planner to ensure timely supply of components, optimize inventory levels, and guarantee parts availability for internal needs and customers. Reporting to the Manager of Material Management and Planning, you will manage the full lifecycle of components, plan requirements, carry out replenishment (MRP, Kanban), and contribute to digitalization initiatives.

Fluency in French and English, a DEC or bachelor’s degree in procurement/ops, and SAP knowledge are

Recognized for its manufacturing expertise, the Shawinigan plant specializes in assembling track systems for off‑road vehicles (ATVs and UTVs). To support activities related to material management, we are looking for a Supply Planner to join the supply and planning team.

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Manager of Material Management and Planning, the person in this position ensures the supply of components within required timelines, while optimizing inventory levels and guaranteeing parts availability for internal and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of components through to obsolescence.

Who you are

• College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in procurement, operations management, administration, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, leadership, and collaboration.
• You are comfortable working in a bilingual environment (French and English) and have a functional ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and international partners.
• Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
