Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing & Negotiation: Managing supplier sourcing cycles, contract formation, and negotiation to drive competitive agreements.
- Supplier Relations: Leading post-award activities, invoice attestation, and contract close-outs while fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Performance Management: Overseeing supplier performance to ensure operational efficiency and business success.
- Expert Support: Providing senior-level technical expertise for contract administration and procurement strategies.

Position: On-site hybrid (Mon, Tue, Thu in office)

Responsibilities
- Independently working on complex Procurement issues.
- Ensuring material/services are accurately acquired to meet stakeholder objectives.
- Leading investigations and analyses, providing advice, including legal reviews.
- Maintaining relationships with key suppliers.
- Prioritizing work and resources to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Participating in procurement negotiations and processes.
SCOPE
- Working independently on complex technical issues supporting an enterprise area.
- Providing technical knowledge in problem-solving, project management, and opportunity identification.
- Forming, negotiating, and managing purchase orders.
- Leading sourcing development, RFx, and evaluation processes.
- Reviewing purchase orders for negotiated terms, risk mitigation, and pricing.
- Identifying efficiencies, cost reductions, and continuous improvements.
- Reviewing billings, purchase orders, and addressing non-compliance issues.
- Recommending process, system, and tool adjustments to support strategic objectives.
- Educating the business on policies and procedures.
- Maintaining records per policies and audit guidelines.
- Validating and executing change orders.
- Providing training and guidance to junior team members.
- Supporting continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes.
- Participating in special projects and utilizing Oracle extensively.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Required:
- Related degree (e.g., Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration) or SCMP/CPSM certification.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement, preferably in oil and gas.
- Strong communication and independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain systems (SAP/Oracle), MS Office, SharePoint.
Preferred:
- Stakeholder influence skills, knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, facilitation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work with urgency in ambiguous environments.
- Knowledge of procurement policies like SOX, and Oracle Cloud.
