A leading health sciences centre in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Buyer to oversee procurement activities and enhance supply chain processes. The role requires strong communication, customer service skills, and proficiency in procurement software. Applicants should hold a secondary school diploma, with preference given to post-secondary education in business and relevant supply chain experience. The Buyer will also support corporate projects through data management and report preparation.
The Buyer reports to the Procurement Coordinator and is responsible for conducting transactional procurement activities for Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC). The Buyer facilitates the Request for Quotation process related to the acquisition of supplies and services, and participates in procurement processes for the sourcing and acquisition of capital equipment.
The Buyer supports corporate programs and projects by preparing reports, collecting, analyzing, and managing information and data in support of procurement initiatives.
Salary Range: $32.474 to $33.168
