  • Take ownership of Open-to-Buy (OTB) management, driving inventory efficiency and achieving key financial KPIs by balancing sales, margins, and markdowns effectively.
  • Analyze business performance and marketplace trends to identify sales and margin opportunities that exceed expectations. Adapt swiftly to market shifts and capitalize on emerging trends by chasing winning products.
  • Ensure the customer always has access to on-trend products by crafting assortments that reflect the brand's vision and resonate with the target audience, driving department growth and relevance.
  • Partner with Design teams to select styling that aligns with the brand identity, customer profile, and the latest market trends, ensuring every piece tells a compelling story.
  • Work closely with Planning teams to manage OTB metrics such as receipts, sales, margins, markdowns, and stock levels to optimize financial outcomes and maximize inventory efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors and the marketplace to ensure the assortment remains differentiated, relevant, and ahead of the curve.
  • Effectively lead cross-functional business meetings, leveraging strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to align teams and execute the department's vision seamlessly.

Qualifications

Who You Are :

  • You hold a degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field, with a deep passion for the fashion industry.
  • With a minimum of 5 years’ experience in merchandise management and retail buying, you’re a seasoned professional who knows how to bring the latest trends to life.
  • Bilingual in French and English, able to navigate seamlessly across diverse teams.
  • A natural leader with strong people management skills, inspiring and guiding your team toward success.
  • Possess a sharp financial mind, love to think outside the box, with a keen ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and make informed decisions that drive profitability.
