Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Buyer / Procurement Operations Coordinator to support a client undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA transformation. This will be a 4 month contract to start, with additional 12 month extension to the end of 2026. As a Procurement Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in reshaping work assignments and supporting the rollout of SAP S/4HANA across the organization. The current implementation has been fragmented and heavily customer-focused, leaving internal teams to self-navigate and create their own processes. You’ll help fill in the gaps, support purchasing operations, and bring structure to a rapidly changing environment. This role is based in Saskatoon with the expectation to be onsite 5 days/week.
Day to Day:
-Provide excellent customer service to internal teams across hundreds of retail locations.
-Help manage purchasing activities and cost control at the branch level.
-Support and improve purchasing processes using SAP S4 and Ariba Guided Buying.
-Assist with urgent purchasing needs (expediting) when required.
-Track performance metrics and support key procurement initiatives.
-Identify ways to improve processes and reduce costs across the network.
-Help develop and improve standard procedures for purchasing and payments.
-Work toward meeting team and individual goals set by leadership.
Requirements:
-2+ years of experience in a buyer or procurement operations role
-Comfortable navigating SAP to create purchase orders and support procurement processes
-Experience supporting or managing the onboarding of new suppliers into procurement systems.
