About our operation

The Support and Development Center provides services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and international mining operations in areas including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction, and technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).

Your next challenge

The Support and Development Center provides services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and international mining operations in areas including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction, and technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).

Reporting to the Procurement General Supervisor, you will be part of the Supply Chain department. You will ensure that objectives are met while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, the health and safety code of conduct, and the environment.

  1. Follow the P2P Process
  2. Follow the IBA process if applicable
  3. Request quotes as per policy and standards
  4. Issue purchase orders and ensure orders are delivered on time
  5. Manage purchase order follow-up with End Users
  6. Issue change orders
  7. Rectify invoice issues with vendors
  8. Prepare RFQs, analyze results thoroughly, and select suppliers based on the lowest total cost of ownership
  9. Ensure suppliers meet cost, quality, and on-time delivery criteria
  10. Complete stocking requests for new inventory items
  11. Ensure KPI targets are met (JDE / Docusphere)

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or appropriate work experience
  • Experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry (mining experience is an asset)
  • Cultural awareness and understanding of work in Indigenous communities is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; speaking and writing French is an asset

Your work schedule

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; possibility of a 5-2-4-3 schedule
  • Workplace: Hybrid schedule, working 2 days a week from AEM office (CTMN) and 3 days telecommuting; possibility to work 5 days at the AEM office (CTMN)
  • Candidate may be required to visit Nunavut sites once or twice a year
