Job Responsibilities

Salary Range: Starting at $65,000/ annually

  • Negotiates blanket/purchase orders with suppliers for purchased part requirements.
  • Executes Division purchasing transactions (ex: Supplier PO issuance, amendments).
  • Manages supplier activity from post sourcing through service for assigned programs.
  • Expedites suppliers/tooling accordingly to ensure program timing.
  • Resolves supplier issues related to invoicing and payment.
  • Works in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Develops contacts with industrial counterparts, trade associations, and suppliers in assessing the materials market and developing company strategy, where required.
  • Willingness to work overtime to complete projects by the required deadline.
  • Work with engineering staff to obtain drawing approvals from suppliers.
  • Prepare and deliver RFQ’s/SOW to Suppliers and CFT Members ensuring product performance deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications And Skills
  • Completion of specialized trade courses and/or apprenticeship/certification.
  • One to less than three years of work‑related experience.
  • Minimum 1-5 years purchasing experience preferred
  • Minimum completion of post‑secondary education in a related field (Supply Chain Management)
  • Purchasing Experience
  • Working towards Certified Professional Purchasing (CPP) designation
