Salary

$65,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on experience & qualifications).

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Source, negotiate, and purchase of goods, materials, and services to ensure that ongoing production needs are met.
2. Monitor raw material/supply chain constraints and disruption and develop procedures and processes to improve efficiency.
3. Prepare and present briefings, updates, and reports when required.
4. Mentor and coach the Junior Purchasers to enhance their career and professional development.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
2. 5+ years related purchasing experience.
3. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
4. Experience with an ERP, MRP, experience with JDE preferred.
5. Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
