YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Ontario Buying Team Lead, you will be part of the Supply Chain department. Your responsibilities include:

  • Following the P2P Process
  • Following the IBA process if applicable
  • Requesting quotes as per policy and standards
  • Issuing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Managing purchase order follow-up with End Users
  • Issuing change orders
  • Rectifying invoice issues with vendors
  • Preparing RFQ’s, analyzing results, and selecting suppliers based on total cost of ownership
  • Ensuring suppliers meet cost, quality, and delivery criteria
  • Completing stocking requests for new inventory items
  • Meeting KPI targets (SAP)
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or relevant work experience
  • Experience in heavy industry or mining (asset)
  • Cultural awareness and understanding of Indigenous communities (asset)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written
Your Work Schedule
  • Schedule: 5 days work, 2 days off at Macassa Mine, Kirkland Lake, ON
  • Workplace: Hybrid schedule — 2 days in-office (Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Sudbury, Toronto) and 3 days remote
