Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance is seeking a motivated butcher to join our team in Canada. You will work daytime shifts (24–40 hours/week) and learn to produce and display high-quality meat cuts, while upholding strict hygiene standards. Training opportunities are available as you develop expertise in cuts and product knowledge.

You will engage with customers, answer questions, and provide guidance on selections. This role invites growth and hands-on learning within a supportive store environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a professional butchery degree and relevant experience.
• Willing to learn and advance in the role.
• Able to work daytime shifts with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Produce and present quality meat cuts while maintaining hygiene standards.
